Online Baking Class for Holy Spirit Club - Serradura (Portuguese "Sawdust" Cookie Pudding)
Learn to make this easy Portuguese no-bake dessert. Crushed cookies (the "sawdust") are layered with whipped cream and condensed milk.
This class is perfect for kids!
In this class you will learn:
- How to make whipped cream
- How to customize the flavor by adding spice, nuts or chocolate chips
Kids must have an adult present to assist them in the kitchen.
Each ticket allows access for one screen (multiple people may work from the same screen)
Shopping list and recipe will be provided 48 hours before class.
The class will be given over Zoom. Link will be provided 48 hours before class.
Note: This class will NOT be recorded to protect the privacy of all students.
You must have access to the following kitchen equipment:
- This recipe traditionally uses Maria cookies but any crunchy tea biscuit like cookie will work
- A stand mixer with the whisk attachment OR an electric hand mixer to whip the cream
- A food processor OR a large resealable plastic bag and rolling pin to crush the cookies
- Piping bag/large resealable plastic bag
- to pipe cream OR a spoon
- 1 rubber spatula
- For serving: a trifle bowl(s) OR mason jars OR wine glasses OR any other clear class for individual servings
- Space in a refrigerator to chill
